Access steelwork remains at the heart of the construction industry.  The Construction, Design and Management regulations stipulate that a design must be capable of being built safely, operated and maintained safely, and decommissioned safely.  All of this would be impossible without provision of suitable access walkways, platforms, stairs, ladders and access points.
